Information for the role of Casual Food Service Assistant

£9.50 per hour plus holiday pay

We are seeking friendly, flexible and reliable individuals to join our Catering team on a casual basis, supporting the wider team in providing a high standard of Catering service to Fellows, Students, Staff and Commercial clients. The team of casual workers typically assist the Catering Department in respect of functions and also backfill for permanent catering staff.

Founded in 1800, Downing College in the University of Cambridge has a unique and magnificent setting among twenty acres of lawns and trees, yet is located in the centre of Cambridge. Details of the role
The post of Casual Food Service Assistant is a casual role. We are seeking individuals with excellent customer service and communication skills. There are no guaranteed hours of work and there is no obligation to accept all shifts that may be offered. Work may be offered for any day of the week including weekends and can be for late / early shifts. Applications are invited from suitably experienced candidates.
