Key responsibilities of a Cash &BankingAssistant:

• Accurately post all transactions within the company bank accounts
• Oversee and monitor supply and delivery of paying in books across the estate
• Carry out nominated bank reconciliations on a monthly basis
• Carry out banking relevant to the support centre
• To escalate issues as required to the general ledger manager
• To work cross functionally with all departments to ensure all bank postings are posted correctly and to the relevant cost or income account
• To assist with the processing of employee expenses and the clinical team invoices
• Assist with the integration of new practices, ensuring all banking processes are integrated with minimal impact to the practice
• To maintain accurate records for audit purposes and assist with internal and external audit processes where required
• Complete and obtain the appropriate approval for all bank correspondence and instructions
• To maintain excellent third party relationships
• Ad hoc duties as and when required

Essential:

• Good communication skills
• Demonstrable experience of high volume data entry
• Computer literate particularly Excel
• Experience with bank reconciliations
• Working to strict deadlines
• Prioritisation and time management
• Attention to detail
• Experience of CODA is an advantage
• Relevant accountancy qualifications are an advantage
