Up to £32,000 per annum
Main Role Purpose:
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a passionate Joiner/Carpenter to join the rapidly expanding housing team within Mears Group in the Coatbridge Area. You will be responsible for carrying out coupled with all aspects at a high standard Carpentry & Joinery repairs and refurbishment activities to Housing properties, delivering best in class customer service and satisfying all safety, quality and cost control standards.
What Experience and Qualifications you will need to have:
  • Must have the ability to communicate with client’s representatives, tenants and other agencies as required
  • Experience in replacing doors, installing kitchens, repairing timber
  • Experience in UPVC. (Repairing and renewing locks, overhauling plastic doors, boxing in, refixing of shower seats, renewal of window boards etc)
  • Full driving license
  • Relevant trade qualification or 5 years experience in Carpentry and/or Joinery
  • Work independently and to own initiative
  • Must be Trustworthy and Reliable.
  • Able to use a PDA following training.
