Salary Band C, £19,264 (per annum, pro rata) £13,697 Actual salary, 30 hours per week (12pm – 6pm), permanent, term-time only (plus additional cover when Premises Manager is on leave)

Do you want to be part of a Trust that supports career progression? If so, this is an exciting opportunity to join Elements Academy, our brand new special school for children with social, emotional and mental health needs in Rotherham (S25).

We are looking for a Caretaker who will undertake day-to-day caretaking duties, alongside our Premises Manager, to ensure the provision of an efficient and effective caretaking service. You will assist with the security, safety, cleanliness, maintenance and repair of the school, including being a key holder.

You will possess experience in general maintenance/caretaking, with the ability to adapt to varied maintenance demands. You will also have experience in supervising staff, including prioritisation, allocation of work and other staff-related matters. In addition, you will have experience in dealing with customers/clients in a work or school setting.
