THE ROLE

Duties will include personal care, moving and handling, mealtime support, social activities, and those other tasks required to support our residents through their lives.

You will build strong relationships with all those around you, making sure family and friends feel welcomed, that health care professionals are kept well-informed and that you are keeping your team leader up to speed with residents’ needs and progress.

As a team player, you will follow guidelines and policies and have good written skills to support residents’ care plans.

You will also help our residents to live a full life; to be more independent, to enjoy their daily activities, and to exercise choice in their day-to-day living.

Whether you are assisting your team leader, completing care records, or lending someone a hand to eat their lunch, you will make all the residents you care for feel safe, comfortable and secure. In other words, you will make them feel right at home.

WHAT WE NEED YOU TO HAVE?

Ideally, you will have experience working with older people in residential care, but so long as you are willing to learn, are flexible, patient, caring, organized, enthusiastic and great with people, then we can train you.

Ongoing training will be provided and job advancement is available and supported to ensure you enjoy fulfilling career development.

You will need to be flexible to work shifts on a rota basis.
