Are you New to Care or an experienced Care professional seeking a new challenge?

We are growing our Community Services across Somerset this year and we have a number of great positions available in your local community.

As one of our new Community Carers with or without previous care experience, you will receive a full and comprehensive induction. Supported by both local and Central Teams you will receive the very best training to get you started.

Working in the Community

A key part of being a Community Carer with Brunelcare is providing that personal touch to everyone of our customers. For some of our customers, you might be the only person they see that day and we want people that will make every minute count!

As a Community Carer you will be providing essential care and support to our customers in the comfort of their own homes. The Care you will be providing will include administering medications, providing personal care, manual handling and promoting healthy living.

Supporting our customers in your local community and in the comfort of their own home is rewarding on many levels.

Paid Travel Time - For every 20 miles you travel we will pay you an additional hour’s pay. If you average 100 miles each week you will receive over £2,000 extra a year.

£1 per hour extra on weekends- We pay an additional £1 per hour on weekends (8pm Friday - 8am Monday)

Double Time on Bank Holidays- When working a Bank holiday you will receive double time for every hour worked

• Equivalent to 30 days paid annual leave (inclusive of bank holidays), increasing to the equivalent of 33 after 5 years’ service (pro rata)

What We Need From You

• You will need to be caring with a natural desire to help people

• You will need to hold a full driving licence & own your own vehicle

• Happy to work alternative weekends on a regular basis

• Availability to work various shifts between the hours of 7am - 10pm
