£24,491 - £27,041 per annum pro rata
Actual salary: £21,511 - £23,751 per annum
The Trust
Kenilworth Multi Academy Trust comprises two schools, Kenilworth School and Sixth Form and The Westwood Academy, Coventry. The vacancy will be based at Kenilworth School and Sixth Form.
We are currently a split site, with Years 7 – 11 based at Leyes Lane and Sixth Form set on our Rouncil Lane site. This is an exciting time to join us as a new build project is in the construction stage with the new school to move to one site in 2023.
The Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Careers Advisor to deliver a careers service for Kenilworth Multi Academy Trust. If you have current corporate or industry experience and an interest in working with young people we are keen to hear from you.
You should have the knowledge and skills to prepare young people for further education, training, apprenticeship and recruitment opportunities in the open market, and career event management.
Organising your own workload, you will establish and maintain links with support agencies; work with students face to face and in group settings; with excellent IT skills to deliver an excellent and relevant careers advice service to years 7 - 13. The successful candidate would be expected to attend parents’ evenings, options evenings and exam results days during the summer months.

This is a term time role plus 10 days (to be worked as required in the school holidays and during A Level and GCSE exam results days in August) and the working hours are
Monday to Friday:8.30am to 4.30pm (with an unpaid 30-minute lunch-break)
