Overview:

Join a friendly team supporting up to seven people with profound and multiple learning disabilities living in a welcoming home in Weston-super-Mare. You don’t necessarily need experience as we provide full training.
About the role:
You’ll help to ensure the people we support get the very best out of life. They’re in their mid-thirties and forties and you’ll support them to access their community and enjoy a range of social and leisure activities. Your day will involve supporting people with everyday tasks, for example cooking, cleaning their homes and managing finances. You’ll also support the individuals with their personal care and medication needs. Find out more about these aspects of the role through videos on our main website.

If you’re new to health and social care, we provide full training including the nationally recognised Care Certificate. If you’ve experience as a care assistant or care worker in a care home, you’ll discover we provide plenty of on-going training and career progression. About you:
You’ll need good communication skills and a positive, patient approach. Respectful of people’s differences, you can build professional relationships and have a flexible approach. You can work 24/7 shifts including weekends and evenings / nights. Opportunity for day time only contract.

We provide a range of benefits.

You have the option of working additional hours or sleep-ins in a range of services - paid at £50-£70 extra per sleep-in.
