Working as an interim Care Home Manager within this luxury service provides the platform to implement an outstanding level of care and grow your profile within a nationally recognised company. This exclusive position is a 3 / 4 month contract that can offer an immediate start. The reason for this vacancy is to cover the home until the end of September when their new manager is due to start.

You will work autonomously to oversee total operation of the home including sales leadership, financial management, customer and team engagement, recruitment and regulatory CQC compliance. The home is based on the outskirts of Weymouth with excellent transport links to the surrounding areas.

This 70-bed care home provides modern and innovative facilities to its residents and staff and has a fantastic reputation in the local Weymouth community. You will use your outstanding coaching and leadership skills to deliver exceptional care within the home and help grow the home’s excellent reputation.

Criteria For This Care Home Manager Opportunity
  • Previous experience of motivating, engaging and exercising leadership throughout the team
  • Strong business acumen and commercial understanding of running a Nursing Home
  • Ability to implement action plans for improvements and build an excellent reputation
Responsibilities For This Care Home Manager Opportunity Include
  • Maintenance of occupancy - privately funded
  • Working towards achieving ’Outstanding’ with CQC
  • Overseeing various departments including hotel services, care services, catering & housekeeping etc.
A snapshot of the Care Home Manager starting package is:
  • Up to £80,000.00 (pro rata)
  • 40 Hours per week over 5 days
  • 25 days holiday plus Bank Holidays
