The Role

Being a Care Coordinator with Helping Hands is about more than just rota management. You will be responsible for supporting the Manager with Recruitment, Business Growth and ensuring we are always delivering the highest possible standard of care.

We pride ourselves on delivering care that truly meets the needs of the individual we support, and your role will be fundamental to ensuring this happens every day by matching Customers and Carers not only based on availability, but also personality.

Main Responsibilities
  • Allocating the right carer to the right customer at the right time
  • Supporting the Care Manager with business development
  • Recruiting of the next generation of Helping Hands Care Assistants
  • Ensuring all carer and customer records are up to date
  • Liaising with families and other healthcare professionals to ensure the quality of care we provide is the best in the marketplace.

We are delighted to offer an exciting opportunity.

The Role
  • To assist the Care Manager in any relevant tasks, and in the absence of the Care Manager undertake those tasks which are necessary to ensure the efficient and continue operation of the service.
  • To provide support to our Care Assistants
  • To plan the daily rotas and manage the rota system
  • To maintain accurate records, visiting customers to arrange new or revised person centered services, to check on service delivery and ensuring a quality responsive service.
  • To carry out regular supervisions with staff
  • Provide out of hours support, as per the rota
  • And any other tasks that are required
Hours Of Work
  • Monday - Friday 0830 - 1730
  • On call on a rota basis (Extra Payment)
What We Are Looking For
  • Good communication skills.
  • Ideally, previous Care Coordinator experience in domiciliary care.
  • Desire to be outstanding.
  • Good team player.
  • Car driver
  • Professional, motivated individual
  • Appropriate knowledge of applicable legislation, relevant best practice and guidance and an understanding of the consequences of failing to take action on set requirements
  • Highly organised and able to meet deadlines whilst adapting to continuously changing conditions
  • Well-developed planning, analysis and implementation skills
  • Well-developed communication skills with the ability to develop positive relationships.
  • Computer literate
