Domiciliary Care Coordinator - Permanent - Widnes - up to £22k depending on experience

I am looking for an experienced Care Coordinator to join a large established branch.

You will manage the delivery of high quality care services ensuring that Care Workers are matched to Clients based on the level and type of care they need.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure that Care Worker rota’s are organised, correctly matched to Client’s needs and well-planned, taking into account travelling time, holiday cover and last minute cancellations.
  • Responsible for resourcing for new care packages and building on existing packages.
  • Improving and maintaining the continuity of care for new and existing care packages.
  • Responsible for resolving customer queries in a timely manner within your area to maintain a positive Company reputation
  • Help develop the company’s Care Worker Community.
  • Arrange training and performance appraisals as required.
  • Contribute to the growth and service expansion

Requirements
  • Ensuring rotas are completed in a timely manner
  • Attend meeting to represent the company to better understand & fulfil service user needs
  • Must have care experience and an understanding of domiciliary care
  • Make relevant checks on care staff for time keeping and quality of care
  • Facilitate the smooth running of the company by direct supervision where necessary
  • Part of the office On-Call on a rotational basis, and take responsibility if care staff are absent
  • Undertake other tasks that are necessary to provide a safe and effective care service
  • Keep up to date with relevant policies and procedures and to support with the implementation and monitoring of these
  • Ensure that confidentiality is maintained at all times
  • Excellent communication
  • Experience required training will be provided on our computer system
