Care Assistant - £9.50- £14.20- Weekly Pay

Shift Patterns - 08.00 - 20.00 or 08.00 - 14.00 and 14.00 - 20.00

We are looking to expand our team to support an elderly lady in the TA6 area. This client has had a stroke and sustained brain damage, she has communication issues, but can usually make herself understood, she is mobile with a walker around the house. The role will include support with personal care, administration of medication, meal preparation, general household duties and accessing the community. She also likes going for walks in her wheelchair.

What we’re looking for:

  • 6 Month’s experience working in the care sector
  • A driver’s licence is a requirement
  • Minimum of 2 satisfactory references
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Empathetic approach
  • Basic IT Skills (elearning & electronic record keeping)

Your role will include:

  • Personal Care includes - washing, dressing, bathing, toileting
  • Medication support
  • Meal preparation and assistance
  • Social stimulation support
  • Supporting clients to appointments and outings
