Contract type: Full time hours available

Shifts Available: Rota 12 hour shifts (days and nights)

Rate: From £10 to £10.36 dependent on experience

About Kingfisher View

Kingfisher View supports 12 adults living with high functional mental health needs or who’ve had an acquired brain injury.

The home has seven one and two-bedroom apartments which promote independence, as well as a communal games room and garden.

About The Role

Your role will involve supporting people with all aspects of their day-to-day living, which may include taking up new hobbies, meeting friends, getting involved in social activities, going to the gym or looking their best!

Care Assistant Day-to-day Duties Will Include

Providing personal care such as washing, personal hygiene, dressing and on occasion, assisting with meal times

Promote independence, dignity, respect and choice across service users

Support social and recreational activities; both in and out the home individually, or as part of a group

Maintain care records; recording observations, activities and assessments

On occasion, welcome and train new members of your care team

As a Care Assistant, you’ll provide person-centred care to support our service users to maximise their independence and live their best life.

You will provide warmth, enthusiasm and compassion when providing care
