We have a fantastic opportunity for someone to join us in the position ofCare Assistant

Salary: £21813 Per Annum (overtime available)
Location: Haringey
Shifts: 7am - 3pm / 2pm - 10pm

Your responsibilities will include:

• To provide assistance and/or guidance where needed with personal care, e.g. taking medicines, shaving, and intensive personal or intimate care in circumstances where this is required.
• To carry out tasks including shopping, cleaning, ironing, cooking, collecting benefits and/or prescriptions, and escorting to attend appointments whilst promoting individual independence
• To monitor the physical and emotional health of customers and take necessary action
• To participate in and monitor care plans

The successful candidate will:

• Have experience of providing support to others in a work, voluntary or personal capacity, we’re also happy to accept applications from those without care experience, who would like to get into caring.
• Be able to work flexibly and in a busy environment
• Ability to communicate with customers, their families and friends and giving accurate feedback to the management team
