  • Shifts Available:10pm to 7am (nights only)
  • Access to vehicle required:Preferred, due to the geographical location and nature of the role.

What you’ll do

This is an excellent opportunity to enhance your current skill base and join us as a Children’s Complex Care Assistant. You will have full training and clinical support to develop and enhance skills in various complex areas such as tracheotomy, ventilation, seizure management, and stoma care plus so much more! We care for and support people of all ages, in the community, and in their homes, with Spinal Cord injury, Muscular dystrophy, acquired brain injuries and many other complex needs. Every day will be different. And you’ll never know what challenges you’re about to face next. One thing you can be sure of though, is that you’ll be making your clients’ days brighter, whilst developing your skills and knowledge.

What you’ll need

Previous experience in child care would be preferable as well as plenty of care, compassion, and resilience. The position is based in the family home where our client lives with her parents. You would assist with everything from personal and clinical care, to domestic duties, social activities and personal interests. No two days are the same and you can be sure you are actively making a positive difference in someone’s life.
