We have opportunities for Paint Preppers to join our growing Paint-Shop. We work to the highest standards and our Paint-Shop team are a critical part of managing this and supporting the production areas.

This is a day shift, working Monday to Friday. Core hours are 8am to 4:30pm. We offer competitive rates of pay, company pension, 22 days holiday plus the bank holidays, and the opportunity for overtime during peak periods.

Key Responsibilities:

Operational Responsibilities

  • Understanding the preparation process required in order to achieve a high paint standard.
  • Quality checks on completion.
  • Adhere to all requirements for hazardous and non-hazardous waste disposal.
  • Ability to produce high-quality parts.
  • Follow work instructions.
  • Meeting the customer requirements.

SKILLS:

  • Previous carbon fibre prepping experience an advantage
  • Preparation of raw parts for primer
  • Preparation of primer for topcoat
  • Able to remove shape issues from a panel to give a flat surface
  • Able to use filler for pinholes and voids

ATTRIBUTES

  • Experience in a high-pressured/fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of the Automotive, Aerospace or Motorsport industry.
  • Able to work to deadlines.
  • Can follow verbal and written instructions.
  • Works well within a team and independently.
  • Extremely detail orientated.
  • Strong communication skills.
