Car Driver

Working in partnership with Peel Ports in Sheerness. We are looking for Car Drivers to discharge car vessels. This is a fantastic opportunity to work for an Employer of Choice that offers career progression, training opportunities, great pay (days £8.91/hr & nights £10.75/hr).

Shift pattern / Working hours.

Up to 12-hour shifts; days & nights.

Start date / Duration.

Car Driver positions assignments are starting immediately. This is on a temporary ongoing basis.

Job Description
  • Driving newly imported cars off ro-ro vessels
  • Ensuring a safe discharge at all times
  • Driving to and from compound areas
  • Working as part of a team to ensure the workload is done in a timely manner
  • Reporting any defects to cars

The Successful Candidate
  • Full UK Driving Licence with a maximum of 6 points,
  • Able to work 12-hour shifts (days and nights).
  • Committed, team player with a keen eye for quality.
  • Reliable with good timekeeping.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a positive and flexible attitude
