As a Capability Development Manager, you will develop business with prospective clients and identifying opportunities to grow business within existing accounts. You will work closely with both senior and junior team members and help our customers fully realise their potential through creating and delivering innovative and engaging training solutions.

You will need to be able to identify & understand our customers’ needs, help create their capability development strategy, and ultimately deliver outstanding capability interventions across their organisation. We deliver exceptional capability interventions for individuals & teams within the pharmaceutical industry, enabling people to reach their potential and drive performance

Our office is based in London, however we will provide the opportunity to work flexibly between the office and from home.


What will you be doing:



  • Developing business with prospective clients and identifying opportunities to grow business within existing accounts
  • Creating innovative sales and marketing excellence programmes in line with the Cormis core offerings
  • Writing new content and creating materials
  • Coordinating internal and client teams to devise structured and/or bespoke capability development programmes
  • Meeting deadlines and working closely with customers to exceed their expectations
  • Delivering workshop-style training in both the classroom (on-site) and virtually
  • Supporting and mentoring our team of international coaches who deliver programmes for us in first language
  • Training administration including survey results, analysis and reporting


What you need to have:

  • Exceptional training delivery, public speaking and facilitation skills
  • Good planning, presentation, time and project management skills
  • Excellent writing and content composition
  • Analytical and consultative skills to assess new demands and requirements
  • More than five years of training experience in the pharmaceutical industry
  • An exceptional understanding of the pharmaceutical industry and specifically sales and marketing effectiveness
  • Willing and able to travel and spend time with customers globally and UK wide
  • Able to develop training curriculum, documentation, presentations and manuals
  • Deep understanding of adult learning principles
  • Demonstrated awareness of innovative learning and development solutions
  • Sound understanding of commercial Pharma and the power of the cross functional team for business success
  • The ability to multitask and test yourself outside of your ‘comfort zone’
  • A sense of humour and a desire to learn and be successful
  • You must be able thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
  • Have high-energy and be a motivated self-starter.
  • Excellent communication skills
