A bit about the role:
We are currently seeking a Capability Development Director for our Cormis division, who has extensive experience in delivering & developing training programs that deliver change. They would leverage strong relationship skills and experience working cross functionally & globally to identify, design, develop and deliver (as needed) on client-specific capability development needs.

Responsibilities:

  • To deliver end to end innovative solutions in line with Cormis’ goal of developing the skills and capabilities of individuals and teams to transform performance to meet business needs (focus areas of leadership development e.g. coaching, business skills, e.g. strategic thinking and planning and communication e.g. engagement to change behavior, selling, scientific engagement.
  • To coordinate internally and with the client teams to define needs and create structured and tailored development programs
  • To keep up to date on the latest thinking & trends in learning & development relevant to our services & client needs
  • To work with the client team to develop business with prospective clients and identify opportunities to grow business within existing accounts (organic growth)
  • To identify opportunities to bridge the gap between current organizational capabilities and needs
  • To assist in the training administration including survey results, analysis and reporting
  • To manage and mentor junior team members as appropriate to ensure quality outputs and support the development of L&D prowess across the organization
  • To deliver training solutions face to face and virtually to an exceptional standard

Skills:

  • Excellent facilitation skills
  • Analytical and consultative skills to assess demands and requirements – including performance and learning consultation as well as development of appropriate needs analysis tools
  • Exceptional communication through visual, oral and written forms
  • Ability to work cross functionally with the client team and the Cormis team responsible for the implementation of the learning solution
  • Ability to identify client and industry needs and an eye toward expanding business, recommending appropriate solutions
  • Client service mentality - Ability to organize and work under strict time and production deadlines, while producing quality deliverables
  • Willingness to flex and create pragmatic solutions to meet client needs
  • Ability to meet deadlines and work closely with customers to meet their expectations
  • Good planning, presentation, time and project management
  • Excellent active listening skills
  • A self-starter that can work autonomously
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • *Education/Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Extensive experience in delivering/facilitating workshops– preferably in pharma
  • Experience with developing a program from needs assessment through to delivering business results
  • Advanced knowledge of training processes, such as adult learning theories and instructional design principles
  • Experience using various forms of technology to enhance learning
