  • Talking to and helping people from all walks of life who find themselves in financial difficulty
  • Asking questions and listening to work with customers and understand their situation
  • Make informed decisions collaboratively with customers to provide appropriate solutions
  • Creating appropriate repayment plans that help a customer’s financial recovery
  • Providing support and guidance to customers on incoming and outgoing telephone calls
  • Updating our systems with everything you’ve done to resolve the situation
What are the skills you need?
  • The ability to listen and make good decisions from what you hear
  • Comfortable speaking on the phone. That is what the job is, so that’s important
  • Be good at asking questions and patient enough to hear and act upon the answers
  • Good numeracy and literacy skills to help explain different options to customers
  • Culture is so important so being caring, honest, inclusive and wanting to work with others is key
  • The desire to want to improve by listening to and providing feedback
  • The ability to work independently and make your contribution to your team. We will provide clear targets which help you understand how you are doing, and your manager will talk to you about your progress regularly, so you feel supported.
What can you expect from us?A competitive starting salary of £23,504 - £25,168 dependent upon experience (based on a 40 hour contract). 37.5 hour contracts also available.

We are open 6 days a week. Monday to Friday 8am - 6pm and Saturdays 8am - 1pm. You have the option of a 37.5 or 40 hour per week contract. This allows you flexibility to choose from a range of shift patterns and pick the one that suits your own work / life balance; whilst maximising the income you receive.
