Summary

We’re looking for a passionate, accomplished, experienced and inspirational Leader to join our team as a Café General Manager within a brand new concept store!

You will take full responsibility for the efficient running of the Café and building a safe, growing, sustainable and profitable business by leading, developing and recruiting where necessary your team of customer focused front of house and back of house teams. You will be entirely accountable for ensuring that your operation is executed in line with the very best of brand standards.

Please note this role is a daytime shift exclusive role.

Operating within our food business and sitting on the Store Managers leadership team, this is a fantastic opportunity for a current General Manager or an experienced Assistant Manager with experience in Hospitality to join our M&S team. You will experience life as a Café General Manager in one of the busiest high-volume Café’s in the country and ensure that every customer leaves us wanting to return.

About You

  • You will have similar experience as a General Manager or Assistant Manager in a fast-paced, high volume environment, have a ‘hands on’ approach, the ability to train and develop a big team and a true passion for delivering brilliant customer experiences.
  • You’ll be able to demonstrate a strong track record of getting the best out of your teams, alongside delivering a strong suite of results that made your business a shining example of hospitality.
  • Ideally you will have experience with a strong coffee offer as well operating in a strong branded environment, appreciating the importance of consistently executing incredible quality and service brand standards.
  • In addition to the core Store role, the individual will act as a Regional hospitality Ambassador/“Go To” person that drives the entire Regions hospitality performance and operation forward.
