Assembly is a thriving bar and cafe in the heart of Chester. After recently opening up our doors, we are now looking for a competent staff member to support the smooth running of our brunch service. Your normal hours will run from 8:30 am - 2 pm Saturdays and Sundays, with some cover required during the weeks. A flexible approach will be required.

Duties:

  • Setting up the cafe ready for brunch service
  • Taking orders and serving customers
  • Taking payments and using the till system
  • Making and serving drinks
  • Using a coffee machine
  • Clearing and cleaning tables
  • Washing dishes/cutlery and putting them away

Skills and experience:

  • Hospitality experience essential
  • Barista skills desirable
  • Bar experience would be a bonus
  • Confident and approachable
  • Calm under pressure
  • Great at multitasking

You would be running the front of house element on weekdays, so you must be comfortable working autonomously in a cafe environment.
