This is an exciting opportunity to join a well established and highly regarded sub contract manufacturer based in Didcot, Oxfordshire.

We are looking for an experienced and motivated CAD/CAM offline programmer to join our expanding team.

£17.00 - £22.00 P/Hour Depending on experience.

Working Hours - Day Shift (39.5 hours p/week)

Monday - Thursday 8:00 - 17:00

Friday 8:00 - 13:30

Overtime is available

What to expect in the role?

  • Create and modify CNC programs
  • Manage, Control and Standardise all CNC programs, tooling and manufacturing methods
  • Support shop floor and production by resolving technical drawing queries
  • Improve manufacturing processes where possible
  • Create and modify CAD models
  • Create tooling and stage drawings
  • Support NPI activities
  • Provide CAD support for shop floor

The candidate

  • Experienced CNC programmer
  • 5 years minimum off-line programming experience
  • CAD modelling and 2D drawings
  • Extensive knowledge of milling is essential
  • New Product Introduction (NPI) experience
  • Technical Apprenticeship or Formal training in manufacturing
  • A motivated individual who can work well as part of a team
  • A reliable and well organised individual
