Are you a CAD Technician or similar with a background using Solidworks looking for your next technical challenge within a company who will develop your skillset, progress you into a Design Engineer and give you more responsibility on a range of blue-chip projects?

On offer is the opportunity to join a growing company who operate in the public sector, they provide bespoke lighting solutions to a range of customers across the UK. They handle all projects from quotation to completion including the design, manufacture and distribution of all products and specialise in Aluminium.

This varied role will see you handle all technical drawings within the design process using Solidworks creating detailed designs including parts lists, you will work collaboratively with different departments to ensure efficiency and accuracy as well as assisting in new product development and contributing to improving company processes. The company will in turn, train and progress you into a fully fledged Design Engineer.

This role would suit a CAD Technician or similar with a background in Solidworks looking for a challenging role with a company dedicated to training and progressing their workforce, giving you more responsibility and the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects.

The Role

  • Producing technical drawings using Solidworks
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant legislation
  • Liaise with all departments to ensure efficiency and accuracy
  • Progression to Design Engineer status
  • Monday to Friday - 8AM to 4:30PM

The Person

  • CAD Technician or similar
  • Background using Solidworks
  • Commutable to Port Talbot
