CAD Coordinator

What you’ll do:

As a CAD Technician, you’ll offer leadership and guidance to the Junior Design Assistant and take responsibility for the successful delivery of a growing portfolio of Design projects - You’ll support commercial installation projects from point of sale, all the way through to manufacture and fitting, including:

• Liaising with clients, discussing programme scheduling and acquiring full and final sign-off of drawings so that the project can be issued for manufacture.
• Understand and explain product and project drawings, mark up specific changes, and pass these back to our manufacturers and suppliers for revisions.
• Relay all final design information to the Contract Manager so the project can be handed over to the install team.
• Create additional drawings on AutoCad where required.

What we’re looking for:

• Experience within a similar CAD / Design based role
• Solid understanding of Autocad software
• Experience within a similar environment such as shopfitting, commercial fit-out, bespoke Joinery, Kitchen / Washrooms etc….

some related industry experience in the construction field and experience managing various project sizes. Don’t worry if you haven’t got the experience, though, as all necessary product training and all the skills required to manage projects alongside the Contracts Team will be provided.

• Salary: £30,000 to £40,000 (DOE)
• Mon - Fri: 08:30 – 17:00
