Cabler

We’re looking for a Cabler to join our Telecoms team based in the Gloucester area. Within this role, you can enjoy exposure to exciting major projects, progression opportunities, support in obtaining further qualifications, and even more.

Location: Gloucester, Gloucestershire

Contract: Permanent, full time

Salary: Up to £35k depending on experience plus benefits & training

Responsibilities

As a Cabler, you will be responsible for carrying out cabling installation work, assisting with organising and re-cabling communications cabinets to a high standard and, carrying out installation work. You fill in digital paperwork providing us with details of each job and create drawings identifying cable routes

Your day to day will include:

• Cable pulling (Cat 6 / Cat 6A / Fibre)

• Cable termination (Cat 6 / Cat 6A / Fibre)

• Installation of surface-mounted trunking

• Removing existing cabling

• Organising / re-organising existing cabling within communications cabinets.

• Adaptable, and able to learn quickly on the job

• Ability to work as part of a team
