C# Developer - Salary upto £65,000 Plus Benefits Package. The company offers fully remote working from anywhere within the UK.

This highly successful Technology corporate based in Halifax, provides exceptional systems and software solutions for the insurance industry across the globe. From core technology solutions, distribution and trading capabilities, to advanced analytics, this organisation’s software enables their Clients businesses to perform effectively & efficiently.

Now requiring an additional C# Developer with good .NET skills, the C# Developer will play a key role in helping to shape the current & future internal software portfolio - from adding & improving software features & functionality, through to brand new modules & complete solutions development.

The successful C# Developer will need to be a good coder with the ability to write software from scratch when required and enjoy working collaboratively in a supportive team environment.

Responsibilities Include
  • Contributing to requirements capture and analysis activities
  • Developing accurate, clean & scalable C# .NET code
  • Working to established patterns and practices of the SDLC and helping to refine them
  • Refactoring, modernising and enhancing established code
  • Maintaining a first-rate knowledge of MS Visual Studio
  • Contributing to the break-fix cycle, helping wider stakeholders as the Subject-Matter-Expert
Preferred Skills & Experience

Good C# & .NET Framework development skills gained within professional software development environments

Highly skilled in .NET particularly in Framework to .NET Core modernisation projects experience would be highly beneficial

Has experience of using MVC for the design pattern

Experience of relational databases ie. MS SQL or MySQL

Experience with API’s

Experience or ability to learn how to deploy .NET applications in Docker containers

Exposure of Web development is nice to have
