A rare opportunity has arisen for a Buyer/Procurement Specialist, to join an Oxfordshire-based R&D company.

This pioneering organisation are working to develop a sustainable product that will have an enormous impact on society, benefiting the environment and paving the way to a greener future!

The Buyer/Procurement Specialist will work to establish a new function, responsible for creating processes and relevant documentation, and working with internal stakeholders to manage their purchasing/procurement needs.

The company are a leader in their field and has a global team, working to commercialise research in solar technology, and develop an innovative product, that will make solar energy more affordable. This environmentally friendly organisation, have received an enormous amount of financial backing and is set to rapidly expand.

What’s required of the role?

  • Commercial experience within a procurement/buying position
  • Ideally experience working within a Scientific R&D organisation
  • Relevant qualifications such as CIPs would be highly desired but not essential
  • Experience with ERP systems
  • An interest in sustainability would really set your application apart
