The ideal candidate is a highly organized, detail-oriented team player who will oversee the entire order process. You will review proposals, negotiate prices, select the best suppliers, analyse trends, follow up with placed orders, verify delivery, approve payment, and maintain necessary records.

Responsibilities

  • Procurement of construction materials for houses and flats
  • Hire plant- Forklifts, mortar silo’s etc
  • Hire/purchase of site accommodation
  • Attend weekly internal update meetings
  • Perform commercial analysis on suppliers to develop more efficient processes and cost-effective solutions
  • Work to budgets
  • Work alongside and with the Quantity Surveyor

Experience

  • Suitable candidates should have experience working within a similar role for a housebuilder.
