Public Practice Specialists Taylor Rose Recruitment have been instructed on a Business Services/ Accounts Manager opportunity on behalf of a progressive firm of Chartered Accountants near Wokingham, Berkshire.This opportunity could suit an ACA or ACCA qualified individual from a general practice or accounts focussed background looking for career progression whilst having an excellent work/ life balance and the option of working from home.The successful individual will be responsible for managing their own diverse portfolio of clients from an array of sectors, providing accounts/ financial reporting and tax services and you will have a good working knowledge of FRS102 reporting standards.The role will involve regular client meetings, managing junior staff, delegating/ reviewing their work and occasional business development activities.You will be rewarded with an excellent remuneration and benefits package, flexible working hours, the option of working from home and a range of additional benefits. Part time or reduced hours will be considered.The role can be seen in more detail below:Responsibilities:Managing all aspects of the client portfolio, acting as the main point of contactPreparation and review of year end financial statementsPreparation and review of corporate tax complianceTraining junior staff and reviewing their workClient meetingsSupporting PartnersMeeting prospective clientsAssisting with other ad hoc assignmentsBusiness developmentRequirements:ACA/ ACCA QualifiedExperience of managing a client portfolio (ideally)A strong background in accountancy practiceManagement experienceGood communication skills
