We are looking for an enthusiastic, self-starting individual to become part our new Strategy Planning and Governance management team as a business relationship manager. You would be responsible for building partnerships with all internal and key external partners, being the advocate for MFIT. External business facing experience is essential for this role.

As the business relationship manager Manager you would…
  • Build strong partnerships with internal and external stakeholders of all levels to provide the face of MFIT.
  • Develop a strong awareness of the Micro Focus business model and strategy towards and supporting the business unit strategy.
  • Overall accountability to the business for all aspects of the Information Technology service
  • Partner with business functions in the development of strategic roadmaps and tactical business plans aligning IT and business for assigned business function(s)
  • Identify opportunities for IT to enable business growth & productivity (Demand Generation)
  • Introduce digital innovation to business thinking
  • Ensure value planning & realisation throughout the execution lifecycle & post implementation
  • Provide leadership in transforming the IT organisation into a proactive value-added business-focused service provider
  • Support Head of S,P&G in all aspects of practice management, including financial planning, cost optimization, succession planning, talent development & team activities
  • Service Management
    • Business Continuity Planning
    • Ensure IT fully understands the changes needed to support the function through the coming fiscal year
    • Conduct service reviews with the business units including contractual SLAs and continual feedback loops.
    • Work closely with the Operations team to ensure sufficient data is prepared for any meetings.
    • Provide feedback to key areas of the business regarding their functions e.g incident volumes/impact
    • Represent customers/stakeholders in any discussions particularly regarding support processes/tools.
  • Act as a role model Valued Business Partner and help champion these behaviours across the organisation
  • Continuous improvement and development of technology services and operations to advance the productivity of the business unit and MFIT in achieving their strategic goals.
  • You may be asked to perform tasks as required by management deemed as a reasonable request as well as challenging our status quo
We’re Interested In People Who Have…
  • Solid experience and understanding of Business case development and approvals
  • Solid experience of running steerco’s operations reviews and stakeholder management.
  • Solid experience of consulting methodologies and collaboration within virtual teams
  • Strong customer service awareness
  • Comfortable and confident at liaising with business, 3rd party support vendors and staff of all levels across the company
  • Able to work on your own initiative when required, as well as in a team
  • Strong industry knowledge, understanding and experience including but not limited to – Financial and HR systems and operations.
  • Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority
