This role leads and manages critical resource planning activities for the Procurement function, whilst providing support for the Capability Development Manager. With business wide exposure, this role will provide an excellent customer experience to internal and/or external customers. This role sits in Business Excellence, Planning & Operations team and will lead the core projects within the Planning and Operations team. In addition, the role will take responsibility to support the coordinator to develop better ways to support the function on a global basis.What You’ll Be Responsible ForIn this role you will be partaking in the development of the monthly updates to the functional stakeholders to provide the insight and intelligence for the effective management of the function whilst making sure planning and operations processes are kept up to date in line with JLR way requirements.You will also be responsible for –
  • Create and manage the Anaplan database and provide timely outputs for review.
  • Provide representation at Incident Management team on behalf of Global Purchasing.
  • Ensuring core business planning processes are kept up to date and maintained.
  • Embed continuous improvement to ensure processes and activities are efficient and accurate.
  • Interpretation of the available date to identify trends and potential future performance to enable the functional leadership team to implement corrective action as necessary.
  • Undertake any other work as directed by their line manager in connection with their job as may be requested.
What You’ll NeedEssential:
  • Proficient MS Office suite: Word, PowerPoint and Excel and experience of Google tools.
  • Proficient in the use of Tableau.
  • Proficient in the use of SharePoint.
  • Able to work with a high degree of autonomy and independence.
  • Organised, analytical and with a positive problem-solving mind-set and ability to support root cause analysis.
  • Keen interest in data and desire to learn more about data and data transformation programmes.
  • Customer focused – ability to determine service requirements and performance measures, and initiate solutions.
  • Experience of collaboration cross functional team working.
