Business Operations Senior Analyst - UK&I

About The Position

We currently have an opening for a Senior Analyst, Business Operations. This role will focus on supporting the operations of the UKI business with a particular focus on Sales Programs. The Business Operations organisation pivots around implementing strategic projects, supporting the UKI operational cadence and driving innovation in the UK business.

The Business Operations team at Salesforce is a high-performance team chartered with supporting the strategy-setting of the business, monitoring business health and performance, supporting execution, and partnering with senior leaders in driving the business forward. We are a highly data driven business. Our business is sustained on a vast amount of sales data captured by the suite of Salesforce applications, and we rely on high quality data backed insights to drive the business forward. Salesforce UKI is looking for a Senior Analyst for the Business Operations team who can support the business in driving the next phase of its growth.

This person will be responsible for leveraging data to drive insights, provide strategic recommendations, and lead the charge on execution and change management. You will have the opportunity to combine business acumen, innovative analysis, and intellectual curiosity to accomplish the best work of your life.

The successful candidate will be a self-starter with a passion for data and analytics, good communication skills, strong work ethic and willingness to grow in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate business pipeline performance to drive the right insights, actions and plans for the UKI business

  • Build-out, own and maintain the suite of decision making tools, assets and analytics that support management decision making

  • Analyse the health and momentum of the business and work closely with business partners to draw insights and make recommendations

  • Build out executive presentations, synthesise findings and extract key messages for senior leaders

  • Own and enhance data-sources and data reporting to gain scale and address new requirements

  • Coordinate with global / regional teams to define best practice across Business Operations

Desired experience/ skills

  • Appropriate experience - 3+ years of work experience in business analysis (management consulting firm OR in a highly analytical role in a strategy team OR in a data analytics team in a growth company) and experience of working with business intelligence/ reporting tools

  • Distinctive analytical skills and passion for data - Demonstrated ability to conduct data-driven analysis, interest in turning complex data sets into actionable business insights, andexperience in building assets, tools and dashboards

  • Advanced Excel & power-point skills and familiarity and knowledge of business intelligence suites

  • Good communication skills - Excellent written and verbal communication skills to translate results into easily digestible messages for executive presentations.

  • Team Player - Collaborative working style with ability to work with other members of the team/ Business leaders, to drive consistency in decision making frameworks, tools and assets

  • Self starter with a willingness to grow - High energy and commitment, with a sense of urgency, and a “Get it done” Attitude in a fast paced environment
