Job description

My client is a not-for-profit company delivering multiple employability programmes across the UK, which aim to tackle the barriers to unemployment. They need your help to achieve their vision and mission to advance the social and economic wellbeing of disadvantaged people within various communities.

In this role you will be:

  • Leading, motivating, developing and performance managing the team of circa 9 specialist employment advisers and occupational health specialists
  • Managing relationships with key stakeholders at a regional level
  • Ensuring customer service standards upheld by your team to ensure all participants are provided with the same high standard of service maximising their chances of securing employment.
  • Undertaking caseload reviews with the team, prioritising those who are underperforming so that all staff have the support and capability to deliver on KPI’s and targets
  • Driving growth of the business through sales activity, further developing employer accounts and opportunities to provide commercial services to employers

We are looking for candidates with the following:

  • Previous experience of performance management of staff
  • Experience of the Employability/Welfare to Work/Health/Disability sector is essential
  • The ability to create and maintain positive working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders
  • Understanding of Employer’s needs, experience of training needs analysis and organisational needs analysis, translating these in to fit for purpose programmes and services.
  • Experience with dealing with customer with complex needs and or health issues
  • Experience of P&L management

All candidates must be prepared to travel within the region which covers Bristol, Wiltshire, Swindon, Oxford, Reading and Basingstoke and surrounding areas.
