We are looking for Business Intelligence Architect atEgham UK this role is a hybrid work model with remote Work and onsite work

RESPONSIBILITIES

Work Complexity

·Manages of one or more medium to large-sized, moderate to high complex enterprise-wide programs

·Leads, consults or oversees architectural engagement across the program

·Works on highly complex projects that require in-depth knowledge of Power BI, MS SQL, DAX, SSAS, Data Modelling, ETL, Analytics and data visualisation

Architecture & Roadmap

·Participates in ecosystem strategy development, including environmental analysis, opportunity identification, value cases and business innovation portfolio development

·Contributes to the IS strategy and ensures alignment with architectural strategy and business goals

·Responsible for analysis, design, and development of roadmaps and implementation plans based upon a current vs. future state in a cohesive architecture viewpoint

·Reviews and/or analyzes and develops architectural requirements at portfolio level

·Aligns architectural requirements with IT strategy

·Analyzes the current processes and architecture to identify weaknesses and develop opportunities for improvements

Project/Work Planning

·Develops, and continually updates, detailed project/program management plans and schedules- ensuring PM methodology is adhered to

·Provides strategic guidance and insight for projects that are Business critical

Resource / Team Management

·Provides work direction and leadership to assigned programs, including scheduling, assignment of work and review of individual project efforts

·Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors to support the execution of projects

·Meets regularly with team to gather work statuses, discusses work progress and obstacles, provides advice, guidance, encouragement, and feedback

·Coaches or mentors team members and provides input for performance reviews

Risk Management

·Analyzes, prioritizes and consolidates this risk and assesses its potential impact to the business as well as on each project individually and within the program as a whole

·Develops and maintains risk plans, processes and systems to mitigate such risk

Project Monitoring

·Monitors the project/program identifying resource needs, performing quality reviews, and escalating scope, budget, quality, timeline issues appropriately

·Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget

Communications

·Ensures scope, goals, milestones, budget, risk, status, change requests, and critical issues are effectively communicated to the business, project/ program team and IS leadership

·Develops and maintains a productive working relationship with business owners, project sponsors, vendors, and key users

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION

·An MBA or M.S. in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Management preferred; Bachelor’s degree in related field, specialized training or equivalent work experience required

·Demonstrated competency in strategic thinking and leadership, with strong abilities in relationship management

·8 or more overall IT experience with at least 5 years’ experience working as a Team Lead in BI related software development projects

·Has very strong BI Analytics, Insights, reports, ETL and MDM background

·An understanding of agile methodologies, tools, and techniques

·Has experience of building a team & line management (4 FTEs or more)

·Have experience working with Power BI, SSIS, SSRS, Cloud, DAX, SQL Databases, Data Modelling, ETL Tools

·Ability to manage multiple assigned projects

·Able to plan and carry out responsibilities with minimal direction

·An effective leader and team player

·Demonstrate ability to organize and prioritize, while working with a sense of urgency against deadline

·Significant experience interacting directly and at all levels with business

·Ideally experience of managing change within a European Business

·Evidence of having managed change through a Transformation Program

·Possess exceptionally strong interpersonal/communication and presentation skills

·Knowledge of the industry (B2B sales and marketing, supply chain, logistics etc.) and multiple business functional areas

·Certifications- CBIP / Prince 2 / PMP / CSM, TOGAF
