The UK’s Utility sector is ever evolving and expanding to meet the increasing customer requirements. At Ipsum it is our vision to be the UK’s customer service leader in specialist utility and infrastructure services.

To support this continued growth, we are looking for ambitious graduates to join us on our two-year graduate development programme, commencing in September 2023.

Your new role…

As a business graduate you will rotate around a number of central or operational functions, with opportunities including Scheduling, Operations Support, Finance, Commercial, Business Development, Marketing, Human Resources, IT and Health, Safety, Environmental & Quality, enabling you to develop a broad understanding of the business.

In addition to the rotational element of the graduate programme, you will also benefit from opportunities to lead on business improvement projects; the option to study for professional qualifications or accreditation; senior leadership exposure through delivering presentations; and undertaking management development training.

Throughout the programme, in addition to support from your line manager, you will also have the support of a professional mentor who will be an experienced member of the senior leadership team, and an informal workplace buddy in the form of an existing Ipsum Graduate.

Your skills and experience

· 2:1 degree, equivalent or higher

· Resilience and ability to thrive in a fast paced, changing environment

· Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)

· Strong relationship-building skills

· Ability to work to strict deadlines

· Planning, prioritisation and time-management skills

· Strong attention to detail and level of accuracy in work produced

· Analytical skills

· Ability to adapt quickly to new challenges

· Flexibility to travel
