About The Role

We are looking for an experienced BDR Manager or accomplished Team Leader with 2-3 years’ experience, to oversee and support our inside Mid-Market Business Development Representatives (BDR) team.

This job is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious and results focused salesperson who is looking for an opportunity to advance their career! You will lead a team of 8 Mid-Market BDR’s and 1 LDR (Lead Development Representative).

This role is ideal for candidates who enjoy sales, teamwork and inspiring others to give their best in finding opportunities and achieving great outcomes.

This team will play a vital role in building the pipeline of sales opportunities for the Business Development team based throughout the UK and Ireland.

Please note this is a maternity cover from January 2024 - January 2025.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee the work of the BDR team whilst motivating and mentoring.
  • Initiate and drive Outbound Sales campaigns.
  • Coach, train, evaluate and monitor BDR performance.
  • Set and track BDR agreed sales targets and KPIs.
  • Execute sales analysis, prepare sales reports, and suggest improvements.
  • Research and discover methods to increase prospect engagement.
  • Ensure sales, finance and legal policies and procedures are met.
  • Maintain an open-communication culture inside your team.
  • Maintaining CRM data hygiene, reporting inputs/outputs

Qualifications

  • 2-3 years of previous working experience as an BDR Manager or TEAM LEADER with experience of managing upwards of 4 team members.
  • Hands on experience with CRM software
  • In-depth understanding of the sales process
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and team management skills
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to coach and motivate a team.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills
  • Driven and ambitious individual with a strong desire to succeed.
  • BSc degree in Sales, Business Administration, or similar relevant field

Additional Skills

Previous SaaS experience preferred / desirable.
