We have a fantastic opportunity to join our Advisory Team as an Business Development Manager focused on growing a book of Renewable Energy clients and building Marsh Commercial’s profile in the UK in the Renewable Energy Sector. This is the perfect role for an individual with a client facing background and a thirst for new business development to join and flourish at a market leading insurance broker.This position is located in the UK Advisory Team however; the successful individual will have the opportunity to split their working week between the physical office environment and remote working.Working within an established team as part of a preeminent global broker allows you to further develop your career whilst opening the door to myriad of opportunities in the future.What can you expect?- A platform to use your relationship building and stakeholder management skills in order to grow a portfolio of commercial Renewable Energy insurance clients

- Deliver sales and growth with a focus on commercial businesses
- Demonstrate excellent client retention skills
- Cover a large region utilising your diary management skills to ensure you maximise your client reach
- Demonstrate strong team working ability in order to forge strong working relationships within the business to meet defined goals and targets
- Provide insight and thought leadership within the Renewable Energy sector and build profile through regular interaction with key stakeholders
- Experience in generating new business from scratch
- A preferable proven track record of technical ability, sales and client relationship management within the Renewable Energy sector
- Be able to generate leads and follow these up to build a strong pipeline of potential commercial clients
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Stakeholder management skills up to and including senior executive level
- Resilient with previous client facing sales experience
- Looking to develop career and a growth mind-set approach
- Ambitious nature and a keen contributor within a team environment
- Articulate with strong client facing and stakeholder management abilities
