Job description

Forth Capital are looking for a self-starter with excellent communication skills to work as a Business Development Manager within our Edinburgh HQ. This is an ideal opportunity for someone with B2C sales or telesales experience looking to start or progress their career in the financial services sector.

The firm is a leading international financial planning, wealth management and pensions specialist, providing intelligent advice to British expatriates around the globe, with clients in over 50 countries and a presence on the ground in the UK, EU, Switzerland, Australia, and North America.

You will be primarily focussing on qualifying warm enquiries via telephone that have been generated from digital marketing campaigns.

You will also be responsible for providing an outstanding customer journey, such as providing the first impression of the company alongside maintaining the relationship throughout the advice process.You must be confident speaking to a variety of prospective clients located internationally, whilst striving to achieve and exceed targets each month.


Key Skills

  • Excellent communicator with both prospective clients and colleagues.
  • A positive state of mind whilst conducting repetitive sales conversations by phone.
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative to ensure targets are met.
  • Organised with time management skills and good attention to detail.
  • Ability to work with an international client base across multiple time zones.

Key Responsibilities

  • Contacting new leads and prospects via telephone to qualify, introduce the company and arrange appointments with advisers.
  • Ensure all company leads are contacted promptly and handled efficiently within their time zones.
  • Developing relationships and liaising with the prospect throughout the advice process.
  • Managing calendars and diaries across international time zones.
  • Achieve KPIs and achieve targets.
  • Assist the Marketing Manager to identify & source new prospects through available mediums.

Experience

  • Experience in a telesales or telemarketing role or similar environment
  • Experience of Salesforce, XPlan or similar CRM systems is advantageous
  • Computer literate, outlook word et al
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets

Package

  • Base Salary from £25000, DOE.
  • OTE £50,000 Uncapped bonus structure directly related to performance.
  • Workplace Pension after 3 months of service
  • Income Protection after 6 months service

Holidays

  • 26 days’ holiday during each calendar year pro rata
  • 8 days public holidays per year
  • (Including 2-week winter shut down)
