Your Role:

The purpose of this role is to prospect and maximise revenue opportunities from new customers, through the sales of new applications and services.

As a BUSINESS COACH - you will have the skills and ability to demonstrate that you can:

  • Targeting/Territory/Funnel Management - Proactively scan the market (local and international) for future opportunities, and use (local and international) networks to leverage this to commercial success. Apply Social Selling by leverage on data collected digitally and through other networks to augment the sales activities.
  • Accessing Customer Needs - Assess together with the customer their changing reality correctly and use this understanding to co-create (and co-innovate) his solutions.
  • Negotiating - Close the deal by influencing the customer by leading the commercial journey, educating the customer in finding solutions, also using networks without boundaries.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Develop profitable sales and achieve annual sales target within SME markets.
  • To be accountable for a portfolio of customers where the employee sizes are typically over 1 to 250 employees.
  • To maximise sales though the presentation of effective cost benefit proposals and other techniques to promote SD Worx solutions.
  • To own the proposal/tendering processes.
  • Support the Account Management Team in contract generation and related commercial activities and documentation.
  • Develop a good understanding of prospect & client organisations both in terms of decision-making structure and also strategic and business aims.
  • Manage a defined territory to ensure self-prospecting and inbound lead management deliver the pipeline required to hit target
  • To maintain accurate customer and opportunity records within our company CRM system.
  • To become the focal point for all prospect and customer activity.
  • To ensure that only approved prices are presented formally to the customer.
  • Have extensive understanding of all SD Worx proposition offerings.
  • Being able to communicate through multi-level relationships into prospects and clients.
  • Working within a team environment.

Your Profile:

  • Substantive (5 years’ experience) in sales/account management
  • Knowledge of controlling a sales cycle.
  • Experience of successfully building and maintaining meaningful relationships.
  • High degree of professionalism.
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Good IT skills and knowledge
  • Experience of consultative selling appropriate business solutions, HR/Payroll Systems
