Extronics are a specialist for IoT devices and infrastructure for hazardous area environments including pharmaceutical, chemical, oil and gas.

The range includes wireless infrastructure, personnel and asset tracking devices, solar and backup power as well as complete RTLS solutions; we work to remain at the forefront of our industry.

We are now planning for a period of sustained growth so we now require an experienced Business Development Manager to join our dynamic Sales Team.

Reporting into the Sales Director, your responsibility will be to develop and sustain growth across the EMEA territory. You will have a proven track record researching organisations, identifying and contacting key decision makers to generate leads and build positive relationships from the outset. You will be using events and conferences to gather information on market trends and competitors to ensure that we remain ahead of the game.

You will work collaboratively with other members of the team when it comes to planning proposals, pricing strategy and forecasting and therefore your communication skills and self-motivation must be second to none.

You will have the natural ability to sell products and services to new and existing customers as well as developing a sales channel network of Partners and Value Added Resellers. You will have a proven track record of motivating such channels to achieve targets.

Ideally you will have existing knowledge and understanding of the Process Industries such as Oil & Gas, Chemical and Mining. Knowledge of hazardous area standards such as ATEX or IECEx would also be advantageous

You will already be resident in the EMEA time zone, ideally based in the UK or Northern Europe. It is expected that travel in the territory is required, although since the pandemic this is not as extensive as it used to be in this sort of role.
