The Role Due to business growth and internal promotions, we’re keen to fill the Business Development Specialist role. Business Development Specialist is part of our Client Solutions Team, partnering with our internal teams & external Sales teams, as well as our Lead Generation Specialist.

This role is pivotal in ensuring my client maintains its competitive edge in our sectors and sub-sectors. This is a critical position in our Business Development Specialist model and for business growth

. Joining a dynamic team, the Business Development Specialist will partner with key teams to ensure we’re getting in front of the right customers.

You will support our external sales team but will also work to generate direct sales where possible.

The Responsibilities The day will be varied – from speaking with customers, to discussing strategy with our internal teams, to working with our external sales team on customer insights. The Business Development Specialist will be responsible for:

• Managing a bank of existing projects that are live on our CRM system.

• Making outbound calls to prospects to qualify leads and to existing customers to follow up on live and future projects. • Understanding the different roles our clients play in a project, their needs, the timescales of a project and the motivations and drivers that could turn the opportunity in to an order

. • Providing some level of technical lighting knowledge, explaining and demonstrating features of our products in a clear and concise manner

• Conveying summarized key findings from phone conversations to various internal teams (Client Solutions, Marketing, Sales) to help refine further communications, as well as liaising with the external team on a regular basis

. • Logging all interactions on our CRM system.

• Working closely with external sales team to coordinate any necessary face to face contact.#

• Coordinating with internal teams to arrange the supply of marketing material, samples and arranging site surveys. The Business Development Specialist will have the responsibility to increase sales and showcase the Company’s products to a variety of customer types, across a number of industries and sectors.

Primarily, the Business Development Specialist will be responsible for liaising with internal and external teams, following up on leads generated by our Lead Gen Specialist and working with external Sales teams to generate sales.

You will work in fast-paced environment to acquire new customers, increasing revenue growth for the Business
