Our client is looking for a Business Development Executive to join their busy team in Huddersfield.

You will ensure the agreed sales target is met, achieving the required company margin. To ensure the company share of the contract furniture market is developed and increased year on year. Assisting to ensure that the sales function is managed effectively, professionally and cost effective. To ensure the agreed area is developed, the sales target will be agreed at the beginning of each calendar year and reviewed throughout the year.

Salary: 25k - 30k realistic earning potential with commissions and bonus 30k-35k

Business Development Executive Responsibilities
  • Formulate and gain agreement with the Sales Director a Sales plan to achieve the required target
  • Develop and implement the agreed plan to achieve the sales objectives and deliver the agreed target, continuing to promote the company brand
  • Researching businesses and industry trends to identify potential new clients
  • Ensure the development and maintenance of good external customer and internal colleague relationships
  • Visit customers as required to maximise sales and maintain strong customer relationships
  • Monitor and evaluate the Sales Plan objectives and performance on an on-going basis
  • Manage the above accountabilities according to the timescales and communication channels defined.
  • Ensure all reporting requirements are kept up to date on going
  • Ensure that the contact report as agreed with the Sales Development manager is maintained and completed as agreed
  • To ensure that all correspondence is managed both internally and externally in a professional and timely manner at all times
