We’re looking for a Business Development Executive to join our established team in the upselling of our products to our existing customer base.

This is a hybrid role, requiring you to be on site at our Leeds City centre office once a week.

Responsible for providing essential technology to 10,000 healthcare organisations across all major UK health sectors, we are looking for a Business Development Executive to join EMIS.

The role

As Business Development Executive you will build relationships with GP practices within your set region in order to identify and close opportunities for all associated EMIS Web hardware and software products and partner products.

Whilst this is a predominately a new business role, your leads will be warm as your clients will already use our products. You’ll act as a key point of contact for our customers, to promote our products and services, as well as supporting them with account management related issues and helping to ensure retention of existing products and services.

Collaboration is key in this role, as well as external customers, you will work closely with internal stakeholders from various areas of the business.

What you’ll do

As Business Development Executive your key duties will include:

  • Capturing incoming enquiries, sales leads and referrals and proactively manage these
  • Ensuring accurate forecasting through effective management of quotes and appropriate timely customer communications to maximise sales opportunities
  • Maintaining high levels of daily customer contact to ensure excellent customer satisfaction throughout
  • Maximising customer retention of existing products and services

  • Ability to build strong relationships and rapport with customers and colleagues throughout the business
