We’re looking for a brilliant organiser and team-player to join our award-winning, Ofsted “Outstanding” apprenticeship recruitment team. Part of the wider Business Development team, apprenticeship recruitment is a key part of helping ensure we get the right apprentices matched with the right companies. We support a broad range of businesses across the whole of Oxfordshire, from universities to local garages, no two days are the same and our apprenticeships give local people an amazing first step in their chosen career.
You will need to have excellent interpersonal and communication skills as you could be talking with apprentice applicants, CEOs and everyone in between. You will have great organisational skills, the ability to work methodically and pay close attention to detail. Due to the ever-changing nature of the work, we do and the further education sector we’ll need you to have a flexible approach to your work and sometimes to your working hours. We often support events, and these can take place early mornings, evenings and occasionally weekends.
A significant amount of the work will be on a computer you’ll need to have a good level of IT literacy and familiarity with using, Microsoft Teams and other Microsoft software such as Word and Excel. Further training will be given on any other IT software we use once you join. Finally, you’ll need to be willing and able to travel regularly between our sites at Abingdon, Witney and Bicester and occasionally beyond, to external events with schools and other organisations.
