Business Continuity CoordinatorContract - 6 monthsMarket ratesRemote workingMyles Roberts is looking for an experienced Business Continuity Coordinator to join a global banking client. The ideal person will ensure that each area of our business has a robust, tested plan in place to enable the business to continue operating in the event of a major incident (relating to people, the building, IT Services and critical suppliers).Skills/experience required;A strategic and solutions focussed mind-set, with a flexible, innovative and collaborative approach to achieving objectives;
  • Aware & experienced in knowing UK regulations and expectations regarding Operational Resilience, Business Continuity Management and Operational Continuity in Resolution, and proficient knowledge of other associated frameworks;
  • Ensure that operational resilience is Embedded within the Bank, measured, and reported through governance
  • Work closely with technology teams in order to design appropriate tests and schedules
  • Work closely with third parties or third-party managers to carry out business continuity and exit plan testing
  • People leadership skills and experience, with the ability to cultivate a culture of continuous improvement, and to develop talent;
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills with the ability worth with a range of stakeholders
  • Prior experience, preferably in UK regulated financial institutions, and with a strong awareness of industry best practice.
This will be an initial 6-month contract, given this piece of work is part of a large-scale programme extensions are highly likely.
