Want to help change how the world is fed?

We are pioneering the development of cultivated meat to solve some of the world’s growing challenges in health, sustainability and animal welfare. We’re a purpose, science and engineering-driven company dedicated to creating breakthrough technologies that will push the boundaries of what’s possible – delivering innovations that benefit people, the planet and animals.

Our brilliant team are experts in their respective fields, drawn from around the world. We’re passionate, curious, innovative and at the forefront of the ground-breaking work being done in this exciting and rapidly growing sector. Your passion, enthusiasm and connections will make a valuable contribution to our innovative R&D work and you’ll thrive on the opportunity of playing a key role in how we take a cultured meat product to market on a commercial scale and create a pioneering, world-renowned brand.

  • Conducting market analysis, to identify gaps and opportunities within the alternative protein sector
  • Analysing and presenting data to key stakeholders on the development of ongoing relationships and future opportunities
  • Building relationships with academia to support our R&D activity.
  • Contributing to the management and progress tracking of internal projects

What we think you need:

  • Bachelor’s or post-graduate degree in Life Sciences (or related discipline)
  • High comfort levels working across multiple industries and the wider academic community
  • The ability to thrive in an interdisciplinary, diverse team and efficiently execute highly complex projects
  • Some experience in business building, defining commercial propositions, developing competitive positioning
  • Passion for our work and the ability to persuasively articulate the Higher Steaks mission to a range of audiences

We’d love it if you also have:

  • Additional post-graduate scientific experience or qualifications, such as a PhD in Life Sciences or a related discipline
  • Strong project management skills
  • Experience in or exposure to the start-up/scale-up world, such as a start-up operations role or Venture investing in early-stage technology companies or experience working for a global consultancy firm
