Position Overview: As a Business Analyst at Jen and Jamie Ltd, you will play a pivotal role in driving data-driven decision-making and optimizing our operational processes. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the retail and supermarket industry, strong analytical skills, and the ability to transform complex data into actionable insights.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with branches to gather and analyze business requirements related to sales, inventory, and customer behavior.
  • Conduct data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement in product assortment, pricing strategies, financial risk assessment, and overall business processes.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation of business processes, systems, and requirements.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to define, document, and prioritize business needs, including those related to inventory management, supply chain optimization, financial risk mitigation, process enhancements, and digitization.
  • Evaluate and optimize business processes to enhance efficiency, customer satisfaction, financial risk management, and overall business performance.
  • Take responsibility for driving change and improvements, actively contributing to the expansion of the business, strengthening our Business Process, and aiding in the digitization process.
  • Prepare and present clear and concise reports to management, providing insights into key performance indicators, financial risks, and recommending strategies for improvement.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and market dynamics to contribute to the development of innovative business and financial risk management solutions.
  • Facilitate the implementation of technology solutions, such as point-of-sale systems, inventory management software, and customer relationship management (CRM) tools.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Statistics or a related field.
  • Master’s degree in related area would be an added advantage.
  • Proven experience (more than 5 years) as a Business Analyst, with a focus on financial risk analysis.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on financial risk assessment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic team environment.
  • Proficient in data analysis tools (i.e., Python, R, Power BI, SQL) and techniques, with a strong understanding of retail analytics and financial risk modeling.
  • Familiarity with inventory management systems, supply chain processes, and financial risk management frameworks.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and customer-centric work environment.
