Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 (DoE)

Main Purpose of Role
  • Develop working relationships with businesses within our Training division and our project & engineering teams.
  • Elicit and document business requirements from internal stakeholders reaching formal agreements for deliverables including capturing acceptance criteria to inform testing
  • Document “as-is” user journeys across our processes and systems to inform the “to-be” design.
  • Become a “super-user” of the division’s technology platform and proprietary data models/structures bridging business needs and technical specifications.
  • Assist in the definition and design of custom development and reporting solutions for the division, providing documentation for business and technical stakeholders.
  • Analyse existing business processes and client legacy approaches, recommend and lead their conversion to agreed target operating models.
  • Provide stakeholder training and support during the embedding of new systems and processes.
  • Collaborate cross functionally and build support & alignment across multiple business units.
Skills And Experience Required

You Must Also Have
  • Analytical & critical thinking – Gathering and understanding customer needs and business objectives to assess options before arriving at a solution. Able to identify minimal viable solutions or products and effectively justify these.
  • Communication and interpersonal skills – Able to communicate complex processes and problems in a concise and accessible manner.
  • Documentation and presentation – Well versed in BA documentation tools and processes, SWOT analysis, swim lane diagrams, composing user stories and defining acceptance criteria.
  • Negotiation and persuasion – Able to build consensus across multiple stakeholders to achieve support for optimum solutions.
  • Certification in business analysis (i.e. requirements engineering, modelling business processes, commercial awareness etc.)
  • Experience of using the SCRUM (or similar) agile process management framework.
