IT Change Business Analyst. Financial Systems. Wealth, Mortgages.
Manchester, North West - Part home working (roughly half and half)

Leading Financial Services systems and service provider focusing on Wealth Management and Mortgage lending referral requires experienced IT Business Change Analyst to review, analyse and design business solutions and processes that improve the effectiveness of the organisation. You will ensure that the designs and processes that are produced, deliver the meet required functionality and business objectives.

The Role

Understand business needs as they relate to potential change or transformation.
Gathering, identifying and documenting business requirements, where necessary simplifying technical jargon for non- technical teams.
Facilitating requirement prioritisation through challenging business need and managing stakeholder expectations.
Contribute to, or lead, the evaluation of solutions options to business problems, developing a full understanding of the impacts of each alternative in terms of commercial impacts, systems, process, and roles.
Business process analysis, mapping, modelling and re-engineering to achieve business process improvement including costs and benefits modelling.
Developing business cases with business owners based on realistic and achievable benefits with costings.
Business systems design - working with the business, technical teams and IT systems teams to broker solutions that provide best fit to the requirements of the business, overall budget and timescales.
Support to the business in their testing of the project. Contribute to the UAT Strategy, test plans and scripts to ensure that customer requirements are implemented as expected.
Supporting change implementation activity and helping to establish and embed change. Supporting users on the change journey including writing procedures and training users in new business processes and their adoption.
Demonstrate an understanding of what service delivery excellence means in your role.
You will need to go through usual financial and criminal check screening processes to join the company and work with their financial data.

Skills And Experience Required

Significant experience in a Business Analyst role.
A successful track record in business analysis, process mapping, requirement capture, producing specifications for new and changed processes, and these solutions providing good business value.
Proven experience in successful implementation of change.
Proven core analysis skills, including interviewing, root cause analysis, business process analysis, business research, data gathering, and data analysis.
Able to communicate effectively, verbally and in written form. Able to do this at all levels up to exec level.
Able to organise and run requirement workshops with business wide user representatives and third-party solution providers.
Able to demonstrate effective presentation skills.
A track record in providing detailed business specifications, along with analysis support on a range of business and IT tech projects which have been successfully delivered.
The project life cycle, and a good understanding of the key elements that make a project successful.
An understanding of standard modern IT technology infrastructures and environments.
Experience of working with 3rd party solution providers.

Nice To Haves

Previous experience in Financial Services, Wealth Management, Mortgages, Retail distribution, IFA market etc.
A recognised qualification in Business Analysis.
